Our Reception Hall and wedding patio each seat over 250, theater style. These facilities come complete with lighting, sound, catering kitchen, bride's room, and tables & chairs. History:
Apostle Highlands Golf Course has hosted numerous outdoor weddings since the 1990's. As the number of wedding requests continued to grow, the staff began to work on an idea for a more formal venue, shielded from weather and replete with the necessary amenities. And so an idea became an actual working concept, and visualization artwork as to what a permanent patio and view could look like was completed in winter of 2011.
This artwork led to the construction of a patio over looking the bay next to the club house featuring a full bar and pro shop in the early fall of 2011. However, it was clear that a permanent canopy structure was needed to enhance the wedding experience. Thus, the pavilion/reception hall was completed on June 2, 2012.
And while this facility comes complete with bathrooms, changing room, lighting, full sound system, and even an IPOD docking station, it is the view you get from the patio that says it all… a beautiful vista overlooking the scenic Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior.
